Kakani is a Hill stand at 2050 meter altitude above the sea level lies in Nuakot, Nepal. Kakani is one of most popular mountain view and sunrise/sunset view pointjust 22 kilometers north west from Kathmandu. Kakani is a fully Tamang ethnic group territory near by popular National park Shivapuri Narjuna. Kakani becoming more popular among the tourist and Nepali travelers for Trout Fish, Straberry, Radish, Raksi local hime made wine and the mountain view. With in an hour drive by car, bus, and motorcycle through the lush vegetables farms you will reach to Kakani. If you like to ride mountain bike to kakani that takes about 3 hours from Kathmandu.

Kakani is still less touristic place of Nepal and only few of hotels, guest houses, farms and Tent camps are offering their service.
